Free books for kids
Inspire your child's love of reading with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, a book gifting program that mails free, high-quality books to children from birth to age five, no matter their family’s income. When you sign your child up at birth, you'll receive a 60 volume set of books beginning with the children’s classic The Little Engine that Could™. This program is not limited to just newborns. Any child under the age of 5 in Natrona County is eligible to register, and each month a new carefully selected book will be mailed in your child’s name directly to your home. Best of all, it is a free gift! There is no cost or obligation to your family thanks to the generosity of the Natrona Collective Health Trust who is funding the program.

Who is eligible?
Children under the age of five who are residents of Natrona County.
When will I receive books?
Six to eight weeks after your registration has been received, books will begin arriving at your home and will continue until your child turns five or you move out of Natrona County.
What are my responsibilities?
- Be a resident of Natrona County, WY.
- Submit the online registration form below, completely filled out by a parent or guardian. Or pick up a paper registration form at any Natrona County Library location.
- Notify the Natrona County Library any time your address changes. Books are mailed to the address listed on the official registration form. If the child’s address changes, you must contact the Natrona County Library in order to continue receiving books.
- Read with your child 20 minutes a day.
How is this funded?
The Imagination Library of Natrona County is generously funded by Natrona Collective Health Trust and offered in partnership with the Natrona County Library.
